On February 12, 2026, Shanghai Chint Power Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Chint Power Systems”) officially signed a cooperation agreement in Shanghai with ENEVO Group, a well-known local EPC contractor in the Romanian renewable energy sector, for the Ogrezeni 761 MWp/534 MWac photovoltaic project in Romania. The two parties will deeply collaborate to advance the construction and implementation of this top-tier European photovoltaic project. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Li Jun, CEO of Chint Power Systems, and Radu Brasoveanu, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of ENEVO Group.
As a key player in the energy transition of Central and Eastern Europe, ENEVO Group possesses industry-leading capabilities for full-process delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure, achieving a compound annual growth rate of 100% from 2020 to 2025. As of 2026, the group has over 1.5GW of renewable energy projects and over 1GWh of energy storage capacity under construction, while also undertaking the construction of 10 high-voltage substations ranging from 110kV to 400kV. The Ogrezeni photovoltaic project, located in Giurgiu County, Romania, is one of the largest single-site photovoltaic projects in Europe, holding both technological benchmark status and regional strategic significance. ENEVO Group serves as the EPC contractor, responsible for the overall project design, procurement, construction, and full-process implementation management.
According to the cooperation agreement, Chint Power Systems will provide core equipment such as inverters and full-process support for the Ogrezeni project, while ENEVO Group will leverage its local advantages and mature EPC experience to ensure high-quality project progress. The two parties will work in deep synergy to jointly create an efficient, stable, and low-carbon European photovoltaic demonstration project.
