On March 31, the National Energy Group and Harbin Electric Power Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Beijing. Zou Lei, party secretary and chairman of the National Energy Group, and Huang Wei, chairman and party secretary of Harbin Electric Group, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the signing. Feng Laifa, general manager and deputy secretary of the party group of the State Energy Group, Liu Qingyong, general manager and deputy secretary of the party committee of Harbin Electric Group, signed the agreement. Liu Jingshan, member of the party group and chief accountant of the State Energy Group, and Chen Hui, member of the standing Committee of the party committee and deputy general manager of Harbin Electric Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides. 
Before signing the contract, the two sides held a discussion and exchange. Zou Lei said that Harbin Electric Power Group is the “national team” and “vanguard” in the development of power generation equipment in China, and has provided strong support for the National Energy Group in terms of equipment delivery, unit operation and maintenance, and scientific research for a long time. At present, the National Energy Group is anchoring the goal of building a world-class new energy supplier, accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation, and promoting high-quality development. It is hoped that the two sides will take this signing as a new starting point, work together to deepen the coordinated development and strategic cooperation during the Tenth Five-Year Plan, jointly promote the construction of new power systems and new energy systems, empower traditional industries with digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, and accelerate the cultivation of new energy fields. Qualitative productivity will jointly make greater contributions to ensuring national energy security.
Huang Wei thanked the National Energy Group for its long-term trust and support. He said that the National Energy Group has the advantage of the whole industry chain of coal circuit, port and shipping integration, and is the backbone of national energy security. Harbin Electric Power Group is speeding up the pace of high-end, intelligent, green and integrated development, and will closely meet the development needs of the National Energy Group during the 15th five-year Plan, give full play to its advantages in power generation equipment development, system integration and operation and maintenance services, do a good job in the implementation of projects under construction, build demonstration projects with high standards, and expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of new energy storage, hydrogen energy, coal chemical industry, and environmental protection.
According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out all-round cooperation in the fields of coordinated development of clean energy, low-carbon upgrading of traditional energy, deepening of power station services, and scientific and technological innovation of energy industry, so as to jointly help the construction of new energy system and new power system.
Before the meeting, Huang Wei, Liu Qingyong and his party visited the production and operation coordination dispatching command center of the group company to learn more about the group’s integrated operation, industrial layout and energy supply.
