ruoqiang 500000 kw/2 million kwh energy storage project is the first large-scale independent energy storage project put into operation by China lvfa in Xinjiang. The project officially started on October 25, 2025, covering an area of 9.46 hectares. It consists of 30 grid-type energy storage units and 56 grid-type energy storage units. 86 sets of converter and booster integrated machines and 344 sets of lithium iron phosphate battery cabins operate in coordination. It is estimated that the annual online power consumption after grid connection can reach 0.44 billion kilowatt-hours, which can meet the electricity demand of 147000 ordinary households for one year. “Energy storage projects are just like the’ regulator’ and’ reserve’ of the power grid. When electricity consumption is at low ebb, energy storage’ is charged, and when electricity consumption is at high ebb, energy supply is guaranteed. It can also effectively stabilize the fluctuation of new energy output such as photovoltaic and solve the problem of green electricity consumption.” The project leader introduced.
