100MW/200MWh electrochemical 2.5MW supercapacitor hybrid independent energy storage power station in tuogang, pengzhou city, is a key project included in the new energy storage list on the power grid side of Sichuan province in 2025, with outstanding technical advantages. The project adopts the “lithium iron phosphate super capacitor” hybrid technology route, breaking through the limitations of the traditional energy storage mode, not only to achieve large-capacity energy storage, to meet the large-scale peak demand of the power grid, but also with millisecond-level rapid response capability, can accurately respond to grid load fluctuations.
After completion, it will become the core force of Sichuan power grid peak regulation and frequency regulation, supply and stability network. The application of this technology effectively improves the stability and response efficiency of the energy storage system, and demonstrates the technical accumulation and innovation strength of the star source energy investment in the field of energy storage.
the project will be officially started on April 8, 2026. it is planned to be connected to the grid before “summer peak” in August. after being put into production, the annual peak power regulation is expected to reach 0.12 billion kilowatt-hours, which can effectively stabilize the load fluctuation of the power grid, relieve the pressure of new energy consumption, and promote the green and low-carbon transformation of pengzhou energy.
