on March 28, the 190MW/760MWh independent energy storage project of jinta panko phase I in Jiuquan, Gansu province, which was designed by China railway Shanghai institute, officially started construction, marking a solid step forward in the integrated layout of “source, network, load and storage” of Jiuquan clean energy base to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of energy in the forming region.
the project is located in hongliuwa photoelectric industrial park, jinta county, Jiuquan city, with a total area of about 45000 square meters and a rated charging and discharging power of 190 megawatts. the construction includes hybrid energy storage power station, 330 kv booster station, 330 kv line and related interval expansion projects. The project innovatively uses the hybrid energy storage technology of “95% lithium iron phosphate + 5% sodium ion battery”, which has high energy density, low cost and excellent low temperature safety, and can be adapted to the harsh environment of the northwest, providing a reliable technical path for the construction of a new power system.
After the completion of the project, it will become the “green engine” for the coordinated development of the new energy industry in Gansu Province and the “stabilizer” for the safe operation of the regional power grid. It will help the construction of a new energy system during the “Fifteenth Five-Year Plan” and accelerate clean energy. It is of great significance for large-scale consumption and industrial chain agglomeration development, and improvement of regional energy infrastructure.
