200MW/400MWh! Jiangxi Yanfeng Network Type Independent Energy Storage Power Station Project Started

on March 28, yanfeng 200MW/400MWh network type independent energy storage power station project was officially started in Ganzhou economic development zone.

lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery is selected for the project, and a 200MW/400MWh grid-type energy storage independent power station is built, and a 220kV step-up station is newly built. The booster station is connected to Yanfeng 220kV substation with a 220kV outgoing line of about 0.95km. At present, the project has successfully obtained the approval of the access system of State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the project has two technical characteristics of extreme performance and active support, and adopts self-developed network-based control technology to reconstruct the control logic of the energy storage system. The core performance of the project has achieved three major breakthroughs, namely, it has extreme overload capacity, can stably carry 3 times the rated current impact, and can calmly deal with transient disturbances of the power grid. With millisecond response speed, it can support the system voltage at ms rate and instantaneously respond to power fluctuation. With all-round black start, it can be started as an independent power supply in case of power grid loss, helping the regional power grid to realize “self-healing” reconstruction, effectively play the active support role of system voltage and frequency.
