according to OMANET, Oman’s local authoritative media, the Oman general administration of special economic zones and free zones (OPAZ) announced that the solar energy project that landed in Oman during 2024-2025 has achieved full industrial chain coverage, building a complete industrial system from the production of metal silicon and polysilicon raw materials to the manufacture of solar cells and photovoltaic modules, with a total investment scale equivalent to nearly 3 billion us dollars.
