Especially the precious metal platinum, expensive and scarce, like a sword hanging on the head of industrialization, has been stuck in the neck.

Jingxing’s hydrogen energy play is very direct: use materials to innovate hard and rigid pain points and achieve an important breakthrough in this core problem.

they now have a complete set of independent catalyst products, of which two are particularly eye-catching:

high-power platinum-carbon catalyst P50: it uses high loading, and also achieves platinum-carbon nanoparticles, high electrochemical activity area, and is suitable for scenarios such as high current density electrolyzed water hydrogen production and high-power fuel cells. More importantly, relying on low-cost, batch preparation technology, this product has achieved kilogram-level mass production.

platinum-cobalt alloy catalyst PtCo50: through a highly ordered alloy structure, the amount of platinum can be greatly reduced while maintaining the high performance and high stability of the membrane electrode, balancing the activity, life and cost just right.

in addition, jingxing hydrogen energy is also used as iridium oxide and iridium catalyst for hydrogen production from electrolyzed water, and extends downstream to make membrane electrode and air-cooled reactor, thus opening up the whole link of material-component-terminal.

these hard products are the biggest confidence that jingxing hydrogen can dare to move from the laboratory to the market.

no matter how good the technology is, it is really valuable only when it is used in the market and in real scenes.

starting from 2025, jingxing hydrogen energy will actively shift its center of gravity to downstream, aiming at more easily commercialized scenes such as air-cooled electric reactors and hydrogen-assisted bicycles.

this time, 100 hydrogen-assisted bicycles in Suzhou have been put on the road in batches, which is the first large-scale landing of their downstream strategy, and also shows us the new direction of hydrogen energy commercialization.

In the past few years, the application of hydrogen energy has almost focused on the promotion and demonstration of heavy trucks and commercial vehicles, but the high cost, few hydrogenation stations and complicated operation have been unable to push forward the scale.

Hydrogen-assisted bicycles are different, and they have taken a completely different commercial path.

According to industry statistics, there are 0.35 billion electric bicycles in China, and the problems of safe charging, short battery life and slow charging are becoming more and more prominent. The hydrogen-assisted bicycle has 10 seconds of hydrogen exchange, long endurance and zero emission, which is the best breakthrough for light hydrogen energy transportation.

the policy is also making every effort to support the bottom: in January 2025, the Ministry of industry and information technology will include hydrogen two-wheeled vehicles into the future industrial innovation task for the first time; In March 2026, the three departments issued a document to promote the hydrogen energy pilot project, explicitly encouraging the innovation of scenarios such as hydrogen energy two-wheeled vehicles.

a complete vehicle carrying platinum cobalt catalyst, the cost has been steadily pressed down, paving the way for the large-scale and economical promotion of hydrogen-assisted bicycles.

More importantly, the domestic platinum cobalt catalyst has been verified to be reliable and mature on the vehicle-mounted air-cooled reactor for the first time, breaking the long-term dependence of high-end catalysts on imports and being a key victory for the autonomy of core materials.

the entire hydrogen energy industry has also demonstrated from large vehicles, really into the bicycle this more flexible, closer to the ordinary people of the capillary scene.
