Akcome plans to build 8.2 GW HJT production plant by 2024

On November 12, Akcome, a strong supporter of HJT, signed contracts with local authorities of Zhangjiagang, a city in China’s eastern province Jiangsu, to build a 8.2 GW HJT solar module production plant by 2024.


With the aim to become a leading HJT module manufacturer, Akcome has made plans to expand its production capacity, including the 8.2 GW high-efficiency module project which is scheduled to complete construction before 2024.

Akcome now has manufacturing bases in four cities, namely Huzhou, Ganzhou, Suzhou and Taizhou. The company has also established its presence overseas in Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Australia. The total shipment of modules has reached 10 GW.

The project is expected to consolidate Akcome’s market position and advantage in HJT cell and module manufacturing.
