The He County, east China’s Anhui Province, held the online signing ceremony of Wind, Solar and Thermal Energy Storage Integration project and the Cultural and Ecological Tourism and New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industry Project Framework Agreement on February 5.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the contract was signed via Internet. The successful signing of the project will have important practical and far-reaching strategic significance for promoting the structural reform of energy supply in the county, enhancing the complementary and coordination ability of various kinds of energy, and promoting energy transformation and industrial upgrading.
It is reported that the project is invested and constructed by China Power Engineering Consulting Corporation, with a total investment of about RMB 10 billion yuan. The main construction projects are the integration of wind, solar and thermal energy storage, cultural and ecological tourism and new energy equipment manufacturing industry.
The project will give full play to the advantages of renewable energy resources in He County, optimize the development and construction of photovoltaic power generation, and support the construction of electrochemical energy storage.
When conditions permit, natural gas power generation projects with strong peak shaving capacity, low pollutant emission intensity and low carbon emission intensity will be built to form integration of wind, solar and thermal storage on the power side. Through the implementation of integrated project construction, improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of power supply, optimize and match the power load demand, improve the power quality of new energy, and increase the stability of output power.
