Energy China signs EPC contract for the 115 MW PV power plant project with the Philippines

On the evening of April 23, a consortium composed of Energy China, Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute and SSI Group of the Philippines signed the EPC contract of 115 MW photovoltaic power plant with Philippine Global Business Power Corporation through video.

The project is located in Rizal city south to Manila in the northeast part of Luzon Island. The project is claimed to significantly improve the local power supply structure, effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and dramatically raise the proportion of power generated by renewable energy. It will also boost agriculture and create job opportunities for local residents.

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Energy China created new ways of market development and cooperation to stand out from a crowd of competitors in the bidding process.
