Keliyuan Riverside Independent Energy Storage Power Station Officially Put into Operation

in the face of the outbreak of AI computing power, new energy consumption rigid demand, global energy transformation and other multiple benefits, the new energy storage industry accelerated ushered in the outbreak period. On March 30, the 100MW/200MWh independent energy storage power station project in Binhe Haoyu, located in Zhucheng, Shandong Province, was successfully accepted and entered the commercial operation stage.

In 2026, the new energy storage is clearly listed as one of the “six emerging pillar industries. At the national level, for the first time, a new independent electricity price mechanism for energy storage capacity on the grid side has been established, bringing multiple benefits of capacity electricity price, spot trading and ancillary services for energy storage projects. In this context, Binhe Haoyu 100MW/200MWh independent energy storage power station has also become a new industry benchmark under the joint action of ecological model and era opportunities.

The project is invested by the energy storage industry fund jointly initiated by Corliyuan, Zhongchuang Xinhang and Kaibo Capital, and is jointly built by the members of the large energy storage ecological consortium such as Corliyuan, Zhongchuang Xinhang, Fruit Technology, Duanrui Technology and Xingchen Xinenergy. In the process of project construction, each member unit shares resources and complements each other’s advantages, and cooperates closely in various links such as technical tackling, capital guarantee, market expansion, and project operation, completely breaking the traditional model of “long construction cycle, high capital pressure, and low coordination efficiency”. The industry pain points ensure the construction efficiency and quality of the project.

the hybrid energy storage scheme of “lithium iron phosphate all vanadium liquid flow” adopted by the power station can not only meet the regulation requirements of the power grid in the whole time scale, but also significantly reduce the power cost in the whole life cycle, improve the overall economy and safety of the system, realize the maximization of operation efficiency and economic benefits, and reflect the frontier trend of “coexistence of multiple technical routes” and “long-term” development in the industry. Project leader Gu Zong introduced that with the continuous improvement of new energy penetration, this hybrid energy storage system that can meet the needs of both power and energy types is becoming one of the key technology options for building a new power system.

After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that each charge and discharge can be 180000 kilowatt hours, the annual consumption of new energy power is about 65 million kilowatt hours, and the annual carbon dioxide emission reduction is about 50000 tons. The project will provide core support for the regional peak winter, power supply, new energy consumption nearby and the safe and stable operation of the power grid, with significant economic benefits and new energy consumption capacity.

At present, energy storage has become a trillion-level track related to energy security and the future. Only by breaking barriers through ecological synergy and driving value enhancement through innovation can we break the internal volume pattern and seize development opportunities. Kliyuan will also be driven by technological innovation, model innovation and ecological synergy, and continue to expand independent energy storage power stations, zero-carbon parks, computing and electricity coordination and overseas energy storage and other multi-scenarios, in order to build a new power system with new energy as the main body to inject green, stable and efficient new kinetic energy.
