compressed air energy storage technology is known as the “stabilizer” and “super charging treasure” of the new power system, and it has no special requirements for geographical conditions, function, construction cost and response speed, efficiency and pumped storage power station, long service life, large energy storage capacity, energy storage cycle is not limited, flexible location, is a large-scale energy storage technology with the prospect of popularization and application.
Flywheel energy storage technology is an energy storage technology that uses a reciprocal bidirectional motor (motor/generator) to realize the mutual conversion between electrical energy and the mechanical energy of a high-speed rotating flywheel.
The project is located in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. It is planned to cover an area of about 60000 square meters. It adopts the “compressed air flywheel” hybrid energy storage technology route, with a total installed capacity of 100 MW and an energy storage scale of 400 MW. In strict accordance with the requirements of fine management, the project team plans in advance and implements precise policies. Starting from the key links such as optimization of construction organization, strengthening of resource allocation, scientific arrangement of construction period and discussion of technical schemes, the project team repeatedly demonstrates and strictly compiles special construction schemes to build a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the tunnel.
It is understood that after the project is fully completed, the annual power generation capacity can reach 0.119 billion kilowatt-hours, which will provide 400 megawatt-hours of energy storage capacity for the Fushun City Power Grid and improve the rapid frequency modulation capability.
