On April 1, Zhongcheng Dayou Huizhou Daya Bay Power Grid Side Independent Energy Storage Power Station Project officially started construction.
The project is located in Huiyang District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, with a total investment of over 0.18 billion yuan and a total installed capacity of 80MW/160MWh, the construction covers 110kV booster station, 35kV power distribution equipment, 16 sets of 5MW/10MWh liquid-cooled lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage units, booster integrated machine and other core facilities, and simultaneously supports the construction of 1 × 0.56km 110kV cable line and 220kV bay side station side interval renovation project. After the completion of the project, it will effectively stabilize the peak and valley fluctuations of the Daya Bay and Huizhou power grids, improve the power grid frequency regulation and emergency supply capacity, and provide stable and reliable power support for the regional petrochemical, electronic information and other 100 billion-level industrial clusters.
The project leader said that he would overcome the tight construction period, scientifically coordinate and fight on wall charts, promote the project construction with high standards and high efficiency, and ensure the project is put into production on schedule, to help Huizhou improve the new energy system, and for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area energy security and “double carbon” goals to provide important practical samples.
