CCTV recently has rarely exposed a new scene of the PLA on the Bangong Lake, where rows of lake-view houses were constructed. These houses have well prepared the PLA for a safe winter.
According to reports, this kind of lake-view house is a self powered heat preservation shelter. Its thermal insulation energy mainly comes from solar energy, which adopts the indoor heating mode of passive solar house and active solar energy; its electric energy comes from wind and photovoltaic power generation module, and can also be provided by diesel engine, equipped with multi-source micro grid system. The shelter is equipped with water purification, and any water source can be purified into domestic water. Another advantage of self powered thermal insulation shelter compared with tents is that it reduces the requirements for logistics energy, which does not need electricity, water and fuel supply.
The shelter can be assembled anytime and anywhere. It can operate in an environment with a temperature of – 55℃ and an altitude of 5,500 meters.
The biggest enemy of plateau preparation in winter is the natural environment, which competes with a country’s industrialization strength and logistics support ability. PLA soldiers can live and train normally in the lake-view room. In the field training, there are also UAVs to send meals and ammunition.
