On March 21, the first Sinopec integrated energy station in Henan Province was officially put into operation in Puyang a few days ago. The project is jointly built by Zhongyuan Oilfield, Henan Zhongyuan Petroleum Branch and Petroleum Machinery Co., Ltd., and innovatively adopts the mode of “direct supply pipeline in hydrogen production area”. It has promoted the construction of hydrogen energy infrastructure in Henan into a new stage of direct supply, scale and greening, and set a new benchmark for the development of China’s hydrogen energy industry and the upgrading of comprehensive energy services.
Different from the traditional hydrogenation station relying on long tube trailer transportation, the project realizes seamless connection of the whole process from hydrogen production to hydrogenation: green hydrogen is produced by the hydrogen production workshop of Zhongyuan Oilfield Oil and Gas Processing Technology Service Center, and is directly transported to the equipment area of the energy station at a pressure of 20 MPa through stainless steel pipelines. After the hydrogen is buffered and stabilized by the hydrogen storage bottle group and pressurized by the compressor, the hydrogen is finally filled by the double-gun hydrogenation machine.
This full-process direct supply mode is the biggest highlight of the project, which not only greatly reduces the transportation cost and safety risk of hydrogen, but also significantly reduces the loss in the transportation process, and truly realizes the integration of upstream and downstream production and marketing of hydrogen energy and the efficiency of supply. The operation of the station has injected strong momentum into Henan’s hydrogen energy transportation speed-up and green and low-carbon transformation, and is also a concrete practice to implement the national “double carbon” goal.
The relevant person in charge of Zhongyuan Oilfield said that in the future, it will continue to deepen cooperation with relevant units, give full play to the advantages of Sinopec’s integration of production, supply and marketing, and strive to build a safer and high-quality hydrogen energy supply system, so as to provide strong energy guarantee for regional and even national green and low-carbon development, and promote the hydrogen energy industry to a new level of high-quality development.
