The project is equipped with a new 330 kV booster station and a 320 MVA main transformer, the 330 kV side adopts the line transformer group connection mode, and the opposite side is connected to the 330 kV Penghua booster station. The project is located in Changcheng Town, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, in the sand dune landform area on the southern edge of Tengger Desert.

The smooth operation of this project will effectively improve the new energy power regulation and consumption capacity of the Jiudun Beach Photovoltaic Base in Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, which is of great significance to ensure the safe and stable operation of the regional power grid and promote the high-quality development of new energy.
