SEG Solar partners with PT ATW Sejahtera to provide solar modules in Indonesia

SEG Solar (SEG), a leading U.S. producer of photovoltaic (PV) modules for the utility, commercial, and residential markets, has announced that it has signed a strategic distribution agreement with PT ATW Sejahtera (ATW), one of the prominent solar PV companies in Indonesia.

Under the terms of the agreement, ATW will leverage its extensive experience in energy investment in Indonesia to accelerate the market entry and penetration of SEG’s brand products. SEG is committed to providing comprehensive support, and empowering ATW for sustained growth in the clean energy sector, benefiting local communities and the economy.

“Indonesia possesses abundant solar resources and development potential, with the national planning to achieve 4.68 GW of photovoltaic power generation by 2030.” Antonius Weno, Founder and Chairman of ATW Group, stated, “We are pleased to announce this strategic partnership with SEG, creating greater value for customers and driving sustainable development in the Indonesian PV market.”

Earlier, SEG signed a lease agreement with the KITB in Indonesia, planning to invest $500 million in constructing a 5 GW solar cell and 3 GW solar module production line project. Once completed, it will become one of the largest solar cell and module factories in Indonesia.

SEG is dedicated to providing industry-leading PV products, with its YUKON series N-type TOPCon modules gaining recognition in the Indonesian market for outstanding performance in efficiency, reliability, and durability. The YUKON N series includes various models, covering a power range from 415W to 585W, fully meeting the needs of residential, commercial, large-scale, and extra-large ground station projects.
