This is a 5-megawatt upgraded product launched by Hydrogen Energy on a larger scale and with higher efficiency on the basis of the first megawatt-level successful experience, marking a solid step forward for the industrialization of seawater direct hydrogen production equipment.

The direct electrolysis of seawater to produce hydrogen and stable operation for more than 20000 hours under fluctuating conditions are realized, which lays a solid foundation for the engineering application of seawater hydrogen production equipment.
as early as the end of 2024, the world’s first set of megawatt-class seawater electrolysis hydrogen production equipment jointly built by hydrogen energy and CNOOC group has been successfully put into operation. The first set of projects was appraised by experts organized by the China Renewable Energy Society, and the overall technology reached the international leading level, and was written into the “China Marine Economic Development Report 2025”, becoming a landmark achievement of my country’s marine hydrogen energy development.
The world’s first 100-standard square electrolysis seawater hydrogen production equipment jointly built by the company and Deep Energy has been in continuous operation for more than 5000 hours, not only achieving a historic breakthrough from “0” to “1”, but also It indicates that my country’s technological innovation in the field of marine hydrogen energy has reached the international leading level.
The 100 kW electrolysis seawater equipment jointly developed by the company and CGN Group landed on the “Fuxi No. 1” offshore integrated platform, becoming the first project to combine electrolysis seawater hydrogen production with marine ranching. The project breaks through the key technologies such as wide fluctuation adaptability of renewable energy, anti-wave fluctuation gas-liquid separation damping structure, micro-nano bubble dissolved oxygen, etc., and explores a new path for the development of multi-energy complementary integration of electrolytic seawater hydrogen production coupled with marine resources.
