Recently, the news broadcast released the content of “my country’s hydrogen energy industry accelerates the opening of trillions of new spaces”, which systematically interprets the current development status and development results of my country’s hydrogen energy industry. The specific reports are as follows:
The outline of the “Fifteenth Five-Year Plan” proposes to promote hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion energy to become new economic growth points. Since the beginning of this year, China’s hydrogen energy industry is accelerating from technology demonstration and exploration to a new stage of large-scale and commercial development.
Seawater can be directly made into hydrogen without desalination. In the Bohai Bay, China’s first hundred-kilowatt-scale, factory-based direct hydrogen production from seawater has reached the stage where it can move from the laboratory to commercial-scale production. “Hydrogen” corridor weaving dense expansion. In the Chengdu-Chongqing area, not long ago, two more hydrogen transmission lines were connected. At present, two intercity lines and a direct trunk line have been built, and more than 2000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles have been promoted and 41 hydrogen refueling stations have been built.
This year’s “Government Work Report” proposed to cultivate new growth points such as hydrogen energy and green fuels. At present, there are more than 20 provinces in the country, and hydrogen energy is the key cultivation direction in the local “Tenth Five-Year Plan. In the first two months of this year, there were 82 hydrogen energy filing projects nationwide, with a total investment of about 47.436 billion yuan. The projects covered various links such as green hydrogen preparation, storage and transportation equipment. Up to now, my country has built 574 hydrogenation stations with a hydrogenation capacity of over 360 tons/day, ranking first in the world. By 2030, the national fleet of fuel cell vehicles is expected to double from its 2025 level, with a target of reaching 100,000 units. Beyond the transportation sector, hydrogen applications have been expanding into industries and areas that impact people’s daily lives since the beginning of this year. In Zhanjiang, Guangdong, China’s first million-ton near-zero carbon steel iron production line has achieved stable operation and replaced traditional coke with hydrogen for the first time. In Huangshi, Hubei, hydrogen energy sharing bicycles make ordinary people feel that hydrogen energy is within reach. One hydrogenation can reach a range of 90 kilometers.
